NCT ID NCT06653881
First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study compared two types of archwires used in braces: conventional nickel-titanium and copper-nickel-titanium. The goal was to see which wire straightens teeth more efficiently and causes less pain, measured using a pain scale and a biomarker called prostaglandin E2. Thirty people aged 18 to 25 with moderate crowding took part. The results may help orthodontists choose the best wire for a more comfortable treatment.
