First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study compares a single injection of connective tissue matrix (CTM) to platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for treating rotator cuff tendinopathy, a common cause of shoulder pain. About 92 adults aged 18-80 with this condition will receive one injection and be followed to see if CTM works as well as PRP at reducing symptoms and improving quality of life. The goal is to offer another treatment option for shoulder tendon pain.
