Blood test could revolutionize stomach cancer treatment monitoring

NCT ID NCT07517107

First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a blood test that detects tumor DNA (ctDNA) can help doctors monitor how well treatment is working in people with stomach cancer. About 600 participants will provide blood samples before and during treatment to see if changes in ctDNA levels predict response or recurrence. The goal is to make treatment more personalized and reduce reliance on scans alone.
