Blood test may spare stomach cancer patients from unnecessary chemo

Summary
This study aims to see if a blood test that detects tiny bits of tumor DNA (ctDNA) can help doctors decide which stomach cancer patients need extra chemotherapy after surgery and which can safely skip it. About 304 people with locally advanced stomach cancer will be randomly assigned to either standard care or ctDNA-guided treatment. The goal is to reduce unnecessary side effects while keeping survival rates high.
