Blood test may catch HPV cancer relapses before symptoms show
NCT ID NCT03739775
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a simple blood test can find early signs of HPV-positive pelvic cancer coming back after treatment. About 172 people who finished curative therapy for cancers like cervical or anal cancer will give blood samples. The test measures tiny bits of tumor DNA in the blood to see if it can detect a relapse sooner than standard scans or exams.
