Summary

This study investigates whether two blood-based biomarkers—circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) and tumor-educated platelets (TEP)—can predict how well colon cancer responds to pre-surgery therapy. About 80 adults with stage III colon cancer will provide extra blood samples before, during, and after standard treatment and surgery. Researchers will analyze changes in these biomarkers and compare them to imaging and pathology results to see if they can forecast treatment outcomes.
