CT scans reveal hidden link between nose shape and sinus trouble

NCT ID NCT07210827

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study uses CT scans to measure how a deviated nasal septum (a crooked wall inside the nose) affects the size of the maxillary sinuses and the risk of sinus infections. Researchers will compare the sinus on the crooked side to the other side in 120 adults. No treatment is given—this is an observation-only study to better understand the connection.
