CT scans reveal hidden link between nose shape and sinus trouble
NCT ID NCT07210827
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study uses CT scans to see how a deviated (crooked) nasal septum affects the size of the maxillary sinuses and whether it leads to sinus infections. Researchers will compare the sinus on the crooked side with the other side in 120 adults. No treatment is given—this is an observation-only study to better understand the connection.
