Virtual blood flow predictor could make risky surgery safer

NCT ID NCT07155616

Summary

This study is testing new software that uses standard CT scans to predict how blood flow will change during complex pancreatic cancer surgery. The goal is to help surgeons plan operations better by avoiding damage to vital blood vessels. If successful, this tool could replace a more invasive and risky procedure currently used for planning.
