Doctors hunt for clues in scans to fight deadly fungus
NCT ID NCT07339800
Summary
This study aims to find patterns in chest CT scans that can predict whether a patient with a severe lung fungal infection (pulmonary mucormycosis) will recover or not. Researchers will look back at the scans and medical records of about 80 patients treated at a French hospital. The goal is to help doctors better understand the infection's course and tailor future treatments.
