Spine surgery study aims to sharpen diagnosis of wobbly vertebrae
NCT ID NCT07644507
First seen Jun 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether CT scans taken during spine surgery can find signs of instability in the lower back better than standard X-rays taken before surgery. Researchers will review images and health records from 100 adults having surgery for wear-and-tear spine conditions. The study does not change any treatment—it only analyzes existing information to help guide future imaging and surgical decisions.
