New CT method may sharpen stroke diagnosis

Summary
This study tests whether a detailed CT scan (multimodal CT) can more accurately identify the blocked artery in people with a medium vessel stroke compared to standard scans. About 622 adults with acute ischemic stroke will be enrolled within 24 hours of symptoms. The goal is to improve diagnosis and guide treatment decisions.
