Freezing device could help sleep apnea sufferers

Summary

This study tests a new device that uses freezing (cryotherapy) to treat obstructive sleep apnea in adults who cannot use standard treatments like CPAP machines. About 25 people with moderate to severe sleep apnea will receive the procedure. The goal is to see if it is safe and helps reduce breathing pauses during sleep.
