Freezing away sleep apnea? new procedure enters human testing
NCT ID NCT06008626
Summary
This study is testing the safety and early performance of a new medical device called the Cryosa System. It uses a freezing procedure to treat adults with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea who cannot use or tolerate standard treatments like CPAP machines. Researchers will monitor 25 participants for 90 days to check for safety issues and see if the treatment reduces sleep apnea events and improves daytime sleepiness.
