First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a procedure called cryoneurolysis, which uses a small probe to freeze specific nerves in the foot, to see if it can reduce chronic pain from diabetic neuropathy. About 30 adults with painful diabetic nerve pain in their feet will either get the real freezing treatment or a sham procedure. The main goal is to measure pain changes one month after treatment.
