First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 35 times

Summary

This study tests a two-step approach for desmoid tumors, which are non-cancerous growths that can cause pain and limit movement. First, participants take a daily pill called nirogacestat, then doctors freeze the tumor using a procedure called cryoablation. The goal is to see if this combination can stop the tumor from growing or shrink it within one year. About 28 adults whose tumors are growing or causing symptoms will take part.
