Summary
This study looked at a device that uses extreme cold to freeze small areas of heart tissue causing irregular heartbeats. It included 91 adults with atrial fibrillation or flutter that didn't get better with medication. The goal was to see if the procedure safely stops abnormal heart rhythms for at least a year.
