Freeze one tumor to supercharge cancer treatment?

NCT ID NCT04150939

Summary

This study is testing if adding a freezing treatment called cryoablation to standard immunotherapy helps patients whose cancer has spread. Researchers will freeze one tumor to see if it helps the body's immune system better attack other cancer spots. The trial includes 15 patients with metastatic cancer who are already receiving immunotherapy but whose disease has started progressing again.
