Freezing probe offers new hope for deadly pancreas condition
NCT ID NCT06553651
Summary
This study is testing a new tool for a procedure to remove dead tissue from the pancreas, a serious complication of severe pancreatitis. Instead of using standard grabbers, doctors will use a special freezing probe that sticks to the dead tissue, aiming to remove it more completely and safely. The goal is to see if this method works better and reduces the need for multiple procedures.
