NCT ID NCT04781387
Summary
This study compared a new investigational antibiotic, CRS3123, to the standard antibiotic vancomycin for treating adults with a first or second episode of C. difficile infection (CDI). It involved 43 participants and aimed to see if the new drug was safe and could stop diarrhea and clear the infection. The main goal was to measure the rate of clinical cure 12 days after starting treatment.
