Summary

This study looked back at medical records of 238 severely burned adults who needed continuous kidney therapy (CRRT) in the intensive care unit. Researchers wanted to see how the timing of starting this therapy and the severity of kidney injury related to survival and length of hospital stay. The goal is to better understand which patients benefit most from this treatment.
