Doctors watch closely: can early kidney filtering save kids from septic shock?
NCT ID NCT07370753
Summary
This study aims to learn if starting a kidney support machine (CRRT) early helps children with life-threatening septic shock. Researchers will observe 50 children in intensive care to see if early treatment improves blood pressure, reduces organ damage, and lowers inflammation. The goal is to gather evidence to guide future treatment decisions for this critical condition.
