First seen Jan 24, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at how combining a kidney support machine (CRRT) with a CO2 removal device affects how well carbon dioxide is removed from the blood in people with respiratory failure. Ten adults who were already using both machines took part. The goal was to compare two different CRRT settings to see which one helps remove CO2 more efficiently.
