Snake venom drug tried in advanced cancer patients

Summary

This early-phase trial tests a protein from snake venom (crotoxin) given through a vein to people with advanced solid tumors. The main goal is to see if patients can safely tolerate higher doses without severe side effects. About 24 adults whose cancer has not responded to standard treatments will take part.
