First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding cromoglicate, a drug used for allergies, can improve symptoms in people with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. About 160 adults aged 18-60 who are already on a stable antipsychotic medication will receive either cromoglicate or a placebo for several weeks. The main goal is to see if positive symptoms like hallucinations or delusions get better.
