Summary

This study tests a new procedure using a balloon-assisted scope to make a small cut in narrowed areas of the small intestine caused by Crohn's disease. It compares this to the standard balloon stretching method. The goal is to see which approach better relieves symptoms and reduces the need for repeat treatments or surgery over one to three years. The study will enroll 100 people aged 16 to 75 with short bowel strictures.
