First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study reviewed medical records and MRI scans of 52 adults with Crohn's disease who had anal fistulas and were treated with biologic drugs. Researchers wanted to see how the fistulas looked on MRI at the start of treatment and again after one and three years. The goal was to better understand how these painful lesions change over time, which may help doctors improve future care.
