New Crohn's disease drug shows promise in reducing gut inflammation

Summary

This study is testing whether an investigational drug called SAR442970 can help control Crohn's disease symptoms and reduce intestinal inflammation. Adults with moderate to severe Crohn's disease who haven't responded well to standard treatments will receive either the drug or a placebo for up to 158 weeks. Researchers will measure improvements in gut inflammation and symptoms like abdominal pain and diarrhea.
