New Crohn's drug aims to heal gut from the inside out

Summary

This study is testing whether the medication mirikizumab can achieve deep healing of intestinal inflammation in people with active Crohn's disease. It will involve 110 adult participants who have symptoms and visible inflammation on an MRI scan. The main goal is to see if 24 weeks of treatment reduces inflammation by at least 25% in all affected bowel segments.
