New hope for kids with Crohn's: testing a powerful drug combo

NCT ID NCT07424040

Summary

This study aims to find out if giving two drugs together (infliximab and azathioprine) works better and is as safe as giving just one drug (infliximab) for children with active Crohn's disease. Researchers will compare how well each treatment reduces gut inflammation and controls symptoms over a year. The goal is to help doctors choose the best long-term treatment to improve kids' health and quality of life.
