Gene clues for Crohn's disease and drug effectiveness

NCT ID NCT07263477

Summary

This study looked at whether specific variations in a gene called IL-7R are linked to a person's risk of developing Crohn's disease. Researchers also checked if these gene variations affect how well the medication infliximab works for patients. They compared genetic information from 303 people with Crohn's disease to 514 people without the disease to find these connections.
