Summary
This study tested whether the drug crofelemer could help reduce diarrhea symptoms in adults with unexplained chronic diarrhea. Researchers also looked at which standard medical tests were most useful for finding a treatable cause of the diarrhea. The goal was to ease symptoms and improve patients' quality of life.
