New hope for Parkinson's pain: drug trial targets tough-to-treat discomfort

This study tests whether a drug called crisugabalin can safely reduce pain in people with Parkinson's disease who have a type of pain called nociplastic pain. About 166 adults will take either the drug or a placebo twice a day for 12 weeks. Researchers will measure pain levels and check for side effects to see if the drug helps without causing major problems.
