NCT ID NCT06164106
First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested whether a one-hour crisis response planning session could help teens (ages 14-18) who are thinking about suicide. Participants were randomly assigned to receive the session virtually, in person, or standard care. The study tracked how often they used their crisis plan and changes in suicidal thoughts over two weeks. The goal was to see if a virtual session is as helpful as an in-person one.
