Summary
This small study tested whether eating house cricket powder before a sugary drink could help control blood sugar spikes in people with type 2 diabetes. Twenty participants on metformin tried cricket powder, whey protein, or a placebo mixed into soup. Researchers measured their blood sugar and insulin levels for two hours to see which option worked best.
