First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding a special electric therapy (CRET) to balance exercises helps people with chronic ankle instability recover faster. 31 adults with weak ankles were split into three groups: balance training only, electric therapy only, or both together. The goal was to see if the combo improved ankle function, balance, and stability better than either treatment alone.
