First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking creatine supplements and doing muscle stretching exercises can improve walking ability in people with peripheral artery disease (PAD). Thirteen older adults with PAD took part. They either did stretching alone or stretching plus creatine for four weeks. The main goal was to see if these treatments helped them walk farther in a six-minute test. The study also measured oxygen changes in leg muscles.
