Stretch and supplement: a new approach to ease the pain of walking with PAD?

NCT ID NCT04471792

Summary

This study tested whether a daily leg stretching routine, with or without a creatine supplement, could help people with peripheral artery disease (PAD) walk farther and more comfortably. Researchers measured how far 13 participants could walk in six minutes and used special scans to check oxygen levels in their calf muscles. The goal was to see if these simple, at-home strategies could improve symptoms and make exercise easier for people with PAD.
