First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking creatine for a week can reduce kidney injury risk and help thinking stay sharp after hard exercise in hot conditions. Twenty healthy, active adults will take either creatine or a placebo, then cycle in a hot room. Researchers will measure urine markers of kidney stress and test thinking skills before and after exercise.
