Creatine fails to prove itself for lingering concussion woes in early test
NCT ID NCT06644131
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether a daily creatine supplement could reduce persistent symptoms like headaches and fatigue in adults who had a concussion 6 to 18 months earlier. Thirty-four participants were split into groups receiving creatine, a placebo powder, or usual care for seven weeks. While the study was easy to run, creatine did not show a clear, significant benefit over the placebo or usual care for reducing symptoms.
