First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether taking creatine for 7 days can protect thinking skills after intense exercise. Twenty healthy male student athletes were split into four groups: some took creatine (low or high dose) and some took a placebo, with or without exercise. Researchers measured reaction time and mental flexibility before and after the training. The goal was to see if creatine helps maintain cognitive function during demanding physical activity.
