Gentle touch therapy tested for knee pain relief

NCT ID NCT07372534

Summary

This study tested whether adding craniosacral therapy—a gentle hands-on treatment—to a standard home exercise program helps adults with knee osteoarthritis more than exercises alone. Twenty-one participants were randomly assigned to do exercises for six weeks, with one group also receiving weekly craniosacral sessions. Researchers measured changes in pain, stiffness, physical function, and quality of life to see if the combined approach was more effective.
