Doctors test better breathing help for obese patients after surgery

NCT ID NCT06287632

Summary

This study aims to understand which CPAP (breathing machine) setting works better for heart and lung function in severely obese patients right after they wake up from anesthesia. Researchers will compare a personalized pressure setting to a standard one in 60 participants. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve post-surgery breathing support, not to provide a treatment.
