Summary

This study followed 34 breastfed infants under 6 months old with cow's milk protein allergy to see if removing cow's milk from their diet improved symptoms, growth, and gut immune markers. Researchers measured levels of MUC2 and sIgA in stool samples and tracked growth. The goal was to understand how diet changes affect the gut's mucus barrier in allergic babies.
