Do COVID vaccines work for people on Immune-Weakening drugs?

NCT ID NCT04870411

Summary

This study aimed to understand how well COVID-19 vaccines protect people with autoimmune or inflammatory diseases who take medications that weaken their immune system. Researchers compared the immune responses of 78 vaccinated patients on these drugs to those of healthy people. The goal was to see if these patients produced the same protective antibodies and immune cells after vaccination.
