First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study aimed to understand how the COVID-19 vaccine impacts the immune system in people with lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease. Researchers planned to enroll lupus patients to measure their immune response to the vaccine and see if lupus disease activity or treatments affected that response. The study was terminated early with only 7 participants enrolled, so results are limited.
