Summary
This study tests whether a COVID-19 vaccine (mRNA-1273) can prevent severe illness in healthy adults aged 50-64 who have no known risk factors. About 285,000 participants will be randomly assigned to receive the vaccine or no vaccine. The main goal is to see if the vaccine reduces hospitalizations and positive COVID-19 tests.
