Massive trial tests if new COVID shot shields healthy Middle-Aged adults

Summary
This large study aims to see how well an updated COVID-19 vaccine prevents severe illness in healthy adults aged 50-64. About 285,000 participants without known risk factors will be randomly assigned to receive either the vaccine or no vaccine. Researchers will track hospital visits and health outcomes using Danish health records to compare the two groups.
