NCT ID NCT04760704
Summary
This study measured how the immune systems of elderly people living in care homes responded to the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine compared to younger, healthy adults. Researchers tracked antibody levels and specific immune cells at 3 and 9 months after vaccination in 264 participants. The goal was to understand the strength and duration of vaccine protection in this vulnerable older population.
