Summary
This study tested a method to help kidney and liver transplant patients get better protection from COVID-19. Researchers gave 48 transplant recipients a booster shot and randomly assigned half to also temporarily lower their anti-rejection medications. The goal was to see if this helped their bodies produce more protective antibodies against the virus.
