Summary
This study aimed to find the best way to get more people at Utah community health centers tested for COVID-19. Researchers compared sending automated text messages to sending texts plus offering help from a 'patient navigator' to overcome barriers like transportation. Over 44,000 patients participated to see which method led more eligible people to get tested.
